Newbies:  (Infants)  8 children – 12 weeks to 2 year

This beautiful classroom is designated for 8 infants.  It is designed to give
the infants the feeling of a home environment where they feel most secure in. It is provides soft warm colors that create a calm energy.  Our caregivers offer loving, nurturing, secure, warm interactions that help children to learn essential skills for their early development as young beings in the world. The low caregiver to infant ratio of 1 to 3 allows for more personal attention to the infants and therefore providing the best care necessary for their growth.

Feeding of infants in our program gets top priority. Our menu provides children with fresh organic fruits and vegetables used to make baby food and whole organic snacks for nibbling as well.

Seedlings:  (Toddlers) 10 children – ages 2 to 3 years

This classroom is designed for active toddlers with many sensory oriented activities offered to help them to them foster inquisitive minds and essential gross motor skills.  We also introduce creative arts through many mediums, and expressive arts through dramatic play to help them learn their identity and build social skills through fun playful interactions with peers and teachers.  Building with manipulative toys helps them to develop problem solving techniques for future use.
Physical exercise is important in their development and we offer this both outside on our expansive play yard, and inside through dance and music expression.  Children in this classroom learn the beginning ideas of gardening and where their food comes from.  Nutritional education is essential in helping to grow these young superstars and we give them this through gardening as well as our incredible meal program.

Adventurous Minds: (Before and After school)  Transportation provided!       20 children ages 51/2 years to 10 years

1.  Nature is our classroom inside and out.  Sensory in all levels:  visually, auditory, tactile, and mindful expression.  Interpretative nature walks, field trips, museum of natural history, marine aquatics, Raptor Center, and so much more

2.  Nutrition and wellness:  This can be included in various ways:  through cooking classes, organic gardening, creating local food sources, exercise, meditation or just focusing on the inner self.

3.  What do you want to achieve in your life? Now is a great time to ask a child to look within themselves and focus on their interests and desires of what they would like to experience in their lives.  Lets figure out how to help children navigate toward their goals and blossom their self interest and light some sparks!

4.  Lets reach beyond the classroom!  How do we show people in our community, young, and old, sick and poor/rich and sick/healthy that we care and what we have to say as children matters.  We as the children of today and the leaders of tomorrow have vision and insight to share.  We can do this in a lot of ways, through our Theatrical plays, art, just visiting the elderly and letting them share our spirit, recycling events, parent/child classes in yoga, nutrition, and nature walks and so much more!

5.  Self empowerment:  Together, and yes we must focus on the children’s individual genders as the difficulties are unique to the groups.  We can focus on self esteem, conflict resolution skills, centering our power, grounding energy, overcoming bullying, positive energy techniques, and how we can change our world by thinking more consciously by looking beyond our immediate surroundings.
